Columbia University Irving Medical Center Celebrates Black History Month 2022

On Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Columbia School of Nursing and CUIMC's African, Black and Caribbean Employee Resource Group will host A Talk With Dr. Ibram X. Kendi. Join us virtually for a conversation on anti-racism .

Dr. Ibram X. Kendi is an American author, professor, anti-racist activist, and historian of race and discriminatory policy in America. In July 2020, he assumed the position of director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University. Kendi was included in Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2020.  He has authored five books including: Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, How to Be an Antiracist and STAMPED: Racism, Antiracism, and You.
