Edwidge Danticat Joins Panel of Haitian Authors Discussing Reflection and Storytelling

Edwidge Danticat was among three authors on a panel at Brooklyn College celebrating Haitian women's voices in literature.

The Wun Tsun Tam Mellon Professor of the Humanities in the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies at Columbia University, Danticat spoke March 24 at the Haitian Women's Book Talk on a panel that included Ibi Zoboi, Maika and Maritza Moulite, and Nadege Fleurimond.

Hosted by the Haitian Studies Institute at Brooklyn College in partnership with the Department of World Languages, Literatures and Humanities at York College, CUNY, the evening featured moderated discussions, book signings, and light refreshments.
